Development of music reading skills applicable to all instrumental and vocal performance media. Dictation, analysis and singing of melodies and melodic exercises; study and performance of basic rhythmic materials. Prerequisites: MUS 1028 , or consent of instructor. Co-requisites: MUS 1033 and MUS 1316 . Two hrs. act. MUS 1027-MUS 1029 and MUS 1031-MUS 1033 and MUS 1314-MUS 1316 to be taken concurrently.
