Development of music reading skills applicable to all instrumental and vocal performance media. Dictation, analysis and singing of melodies and melodic exercises; study and performance of basic rhythmic materials. Prerequisites: MUS 1027 , or consent of instructor. Co-requisites: MUS 1032 and MUS 1315 . Two hrs. act. MUS 1027-29 and 1031-33 and 1314-16 to be taken concurrently.
