MATH 6349 - Theory of Functions of a Real Variable Units: 4 Pointwise and uniform convergence. Taylor series, Riemann integration, sets of measure zero, Lebesgue’s theorem on the Riemann integral, the metric space of continuous functions, and selected topics. Students will do independent theoretical work. Dual-listed with MATH 4350. Prerequisites: MATH 3300. Credit Restrictions: Not open to students with credit for MATH 4350.
