Anatomy and physiology of the outer and middle ear systems with emphasis on their clinical correlates; the nature of sound and hearing. Audiology as a profession. Practical experience with diagnostic audiologic evaluation and interpretation. Must complete with a grade of “B” (3.0) or better to meet prerequisites for SPPA 4000 level courses. May be repeated once for credit for a maximum of 8 units.
