Completion of a formal research paper for submission to the university in the specified format. Supervision by a faculty committee, chaired by a regular member of the department. Oral defense required. Prerequisites: SW 6932 , advancement to Candidacy, and consent of faculty advisor. Must be repeated once for credit for a total of 8 units.
