REC 1000 - Introduction to Recreation

An introductory multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural investigation of the implications of how leisure contributes to the quality of life of individuals and communities. Survey of institutions and organizations providing recreational services, examining the effects of ethnicity, dominant culture, age and ability on service delivery. This is a prerequisite for all core courses.
