MUS 3558 - Chamber Ensembles: Jazz Combos-Rhythm Section Ensemble
Units: 1
Chamber ensembles are open to all qualified students (determined by audition). Music majors are required to enroll in one major performance group each quarter. Jazz ensemble emphasizing rhythmically challenging material such as odd-meter composition, polyrhythmic works, and pieces with frequent and dramatic metric changes. Field trips may be required. Each chamber ensemble may be repeated for credit, for a maximum of 6 units per ensemble. Two hrs act.
