CRJA 4330 - Prejudice, Violence, and Hate Crimes Units: 4 Exploration of the characteristics, prevalence, causes, penalties, and constitutional issues regarding hate crimes and hate speech. The history, social contexts, and political controversies surrounding hate crimes, as well as other components of prejudice and violence, will be examined. A-F grading only. A grade of C (2.0) or higher is required for all courses to be counted toward the major.
