CHEM 1102 - General Chemistry

Fundamental principles of chemistry, chemical structure, bonding, equilibrium, dynamics, and reactions. Laboratory includes study of chemical and physical behavior of elements and compounds, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Prerequisites: CHEM 1100, one year high school chemistry, two years high school mathematics, and one year high school physics are recommended. CHEM 1101 is prerequisite to CHEM 1102; CHEM 1102 is prerequisite to CHEM 1103. Three hrs. lect., 6 hrs. lab. each.
