The structure and function of the vertebrate and invertebrate nervous system with emphasis on the principles of communication, control, and sensorimotor responses. Survey of concepts of neurochemistry, feedback, learning, and high brain processes. Students are required to make oral and written presentations of a current topic in neurobiology. Not open to students with credit for BIOL 4510.
