The Filipina/x/o American Studies (FAS) minor offers students majoring in another discipline the opportunity to acquire knowledge and understanding of Filipina/x/o groups in the United States. The minor explores anti-racism, diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice through the art, literature, politics, and social dynamics of Filipina/x/o American groups in the United States and the diaspora. This course of study will provide specialized knowledge to become dynamic leaders in education, health, criminal justice, business, law, non-profit management, and more.

Minor Requirements (15 units)

Required Courses

The following two (2) courses are required for six (6) units:
