EESC 451 - Hydroinformatics Units: 4 This course applies informatics strategies and techniques to hydrologic problems. Advanced methods for hydrologic analyses and data visualization using computer programming.
Prerequisites: Senior standing. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Compute measures of hydrologic behavior by writing short computer programs.
- Interpret data with respect to hydrologic behavior.
- Represent the results of analyses using appropriate data visualization techniques.
- Apply informatics concepts to address a hydrology research question using available data.
