EESC 133 - Introduction to the Earth, Environmental and Sustainability Sciences for Majors Units: 1 Introduction for the Earth, Environmental, and Sustainability Science majors to the program requirements, degree learning outcomes, degree roadmaps, course enrollment management and planning, online course components orientation, navigating the CSUEB student administration system, student services and resources, and the EESC degree advising regimen.
Prerequisites: Open to majors and minors only. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous, or Online-Synchronous. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: 1) Describe and navigate through their EESC major program and the CSUEB student administration system competently and confidently for their daily academic needs;
2) describe, plan and implement their educational pathways for their EESC degree;
3) describe and navigate through the online Learning Management System Canvas and resources provided by CSUEB Online Campus and
4) work in small peer support groups for sharing information, work collaboration, and mutual help.
