This course lays the foundation for advanced nursing practice and organizational effectiveness by introducing and reinforcing concepts of advanced pharmacology, pathophysiology and physical health assessment.

Integrate physiology and pathogenesis of commonly encountered diseases across the lifespan and special populations.
Analyze risk factors, symptomatology, and diagnostic findings to select clinical actions and prioritize interventions.
Integrate pharmacological principles and research advances in pharmacotherapy to evaluate safety and efficacy of drug therapy for patients with selected illnesses.
