EDLD 785 - Dissertation Committee Seminar V

This course provides dissertation committee support for the student’s development, implementation, and completion of their doctoral dissertation.

Prerequisites: Department consent.
Credit Restrictions: Open to EdD Students Only.

Possible Instructional Methods: Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous, or Online-Synchronous.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Course Typically Offered: Fall, Spring, or Summer


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
1. The student will co-develop with their dissertation committee the dissertation draft and defense presentation powerpoint needed to then successfully defend the dissertation during the spring semester.

2. The student will finish conducting their dissertation research, including consent from participants, gathering data, data analysis, and writing up the final results into their dissertation defense draft.

3. The student will complete a revised final written dissertation draft based on any revisions required by the dissertation committee during the dissertation oral defense as well as finalizing any APA formatting requirements for publishing their dissertation in ProQuest.
