KIN 148 - Beginning Activities: Soccer - Tennis

Development of soccer-tennis skills, tactics, game strategies, etiquette, rules and value of active living, life-long fitness, health, and wellness. 

Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 2 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice).
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
 

  1. Develop physical, social and psychological skills and abilities that promote life-long fitness, health, and wellness.
  2. Understand how the physical, social and psychological skills and abilities acquired through being physically active can be transferred and applied to other life domains.
  3. Be able to select and engage in behaviors that promote life-long fitness and healthy living.
  4. Understand the potential for physical activity to be a vehicle for promoting life-long personal and social responsibility.
