HIST 630 - Historical Interpretation Units: 4 Readings and discussion on theories and methods of historical research, and their applied use. Special attention to historiography, archival practices, public history, and oral history. Students will refine their skills in interpretive writing.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Identify major themes, approaches, and interpretations of historical analysis.
- Analyze the arguments of professional historians.
- Identify the subjectivity in historical literature.
- Examine how structural inequality impacts historical research, preservation, and dissemination.
- Present written and oral analysis of historiography.
