BAN 670 - Advanced Topics in Analytics

Recent development in various topics of analytics, which include, but not limited to, advanced data visualization, machine learning, text mining and web analytics, natural language processing, analytics strategy, and industrial applications of data analytics.

Prerequisites: BAN 601 or ITM 330, BAN 602 or MGMT 350.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: College Algebra, Statistics and Object-Oriented Programming.
Repeatability: May be repeated twice for credit for a maximum of 9 units.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground or Hybrid.
Grading: A-F grading only.

Identify most recent developments in one or more subfields of business analytics.
Apply advanced analytics techniques to solve business problems.
Utilize advanced analytics software to implement advanced analytics techniques and methods.
