It provides how the profession addresses clients’ needs through therapeutic programs. Also, discuss social identity affect outcome in different cultural and economic groups through social justice.

Strongly Recommended Preparation: Upper division status (greater than 60 earned semester units) and completion of lower division GE Area 4 requirements. 1. Discuss power and social identify that affect social outcomes using vocabulary and methods of social science inquiry within recreation therapy.
2. Identify disciplinary concepts of the social and behavioral sciences that relates to social justice in recreation therapy.
3. Apply appropriate method of the social and behavioral sciences research that pertains to social justice in recreation therapy.
