ENGL 612 - Restoration and 18th-Century British Literature

Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to analyze and interpret various 18th-century literary texts in clear and cogent prose.
Discuss 2-3 theoretical perspectives about literature and apply these to the literature we read.
Prepare a research seminar paper that demonstrates facility with conducting research in traditional and nontraditional ways.
Work collaboratively in class presentations and independently on a seminar research paper of 12-15 pages.
