Apply knowledge of planning, instruction, assessment, and reflection to complete and submit the Teaching Performance Assessment. Explore ways to nurture a teaching career with colleagues and professionals in the field.

Prerequisites: Acceptance into the PK-3 ECE Specialist Credential.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous, or Online-Synchronous.
Grading: A-F grading only.
Course Typically Offered: Variable Intermittently


Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
  1. Prepare each task of the edTPA utilizing Preschool Foundations, Frameworks pertaining to early childhood education, and CCSS. 
  2. Analyze and reflect on concepts and strategies that contribute to relationships with children, faculty, families, and the child’s community. 
  3. Consider exploration and evaluation of classroom environments and classroom management to apply best teaching practices in a PK-3 setting.
  4. Collaborate, discuss, and explore the multiple components of ongoing growth as a PK-3 professional with colleagues and other PK-3 professionals in the field.
