Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: 1. Describe the diversity of plants and their evolution and classification;
2. Explain plants’ life cycles from seed germination to growth and reproduction;
3. Describe photosynthesis and cellular respiration, as well as their interactions with environmental factors;
4. Evaluate the role of plants in the environment and in people’s lives;
5. Design and conduct hypothesis-driven experiments in plant biology.
