SLHS 309 - Foundations of Success in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology I Units: 2 Students will learn a variety of skills to support them through the completion of the B.S. degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Prerequisites: Open to Majors only Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: CR/NC grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Create a plan to graduation that includes both major and non-major course requirements
- Create a weekly and a semester study plan
- Develop effective study strategies for SLHS major courses
- Develop effective skills for group assignments, presentations, and writing assignments
- Identify sources of support, including student organizations and campus resources
