MGMT 675 - Innovation Strategy Units: 3 Applying strategic and entrepreneurial skills and processes effectively to manage innovation in firms. It examines the theory and evaluates approaches for developing new ideas for business practices, technologies, products, and industries.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Develop an understanding of how innovations develop, gain adoption in the marketplace, and lead to new and revitalized industries.
- Identify opportunities for competitive advantage through innovation, such as the appropriation of value from intellectual property and the commercialization of technology.
- Investigate how to nurture innovative capacity in the firm and how to build a creative organization.
