MSC 435 - Physiology of Marine Algae

Understanding the adaptations of marine algae to their environment. Physiological topics will include respiration, enzyme activity, and biochemical composition. Hands-on experience in basic electronic instrumentation, chemical separations, optical measurements, culturing methods and radioisotope techniques.

Prerequisites: All of: MSC 403, MSC 431, MSC 444.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground.
Grading: A-F grading only.
