MGMT 497 - Issues in Management Units: 3 Readings, discussion, and research on contemporary and/or significant issues in management.
Prerequisites: Junior, senior or post-baccalaureate standing. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit when content varies, for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate an understanding of the HRM/OB topics being discussed in the course.
- Conduct quality research on the HRM/OB topic at hand to develop and design HRM/OB practices and/or systems in multicultural organizations, and present it to an informed audience
- Instructors must develop at least three subject matter specific SLOs for the selected topic of the course - e.g. managing diversity, international leadership, leading change
