MUS 497 - Contemporary Issues in Music Education Units: 3 Examination, discussion, and analysis of topics of consequence related to contemporary music teaching and learning.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Examine, discuss, and analyze topics of consequence in contemporary music education.
- Present original views and conclusions related to contemporary music education.
- Relate contemporary events to prior events/developments in the field music education.
- Relate current issues to their implementation in contemporary school-based music education.
