MATH 675 - Differential Equations Units: 4 Series solutions, solutions about ordinary and regular singular points. Systems of first order linear equations, Laplace transforms, boundary value problems, Fourier series. Applications such as heat conduction and the wave equation. Euler’s method, Runge-Kutta, multi-step methods.
Prerequisites: All of: MATH 215 (Formerly MATH 210), MATH 310, MATH 330. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Apply definitions and theorems of numerical analysis.
- Apply the techniques of numerical analysis to solve problems.
