MM 682 - Individual Multimedia Research and Practice Units: 3 A series of structured and customized individual research and development modules designed to prepare each student for the capstone project. Socially responsible practice and professional standards of sophistication and productivity are emphasized.
Prerequisites: MM 602. Co-requisites: MM 680. Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Evaluate an R&D request for completeness and feasibility.
- Autonomously research a technology or story with appropriate thoroughness.
- Fully use the research to develop a prototype or multimedia experience that can later be integrated into a complex team project.
- Develop multimedia responses to social problems at the community, local, and global level.
