HIST 610 - Research Seminar Units: 4 Historical methodology including critical analysis and use of source materials, research and writing. Investigation of selected topics in political, economic, diplomatic, intellectual, and social history. Reports and discussion.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Conceptualize and execute an original research project.
- Identify and synthesize pertinent secondary source literature.
- Write a well-argued historical essay.
- Edit and proofread written work.
- Present research orally in class discussions.
