MGMT 658 - Project Management Units: 3 Processes, tools and techniques required in managing projects such as product development, construction, information systems and new business. Topics include project scope, schedule, cost and resource management, risk management, managing teams and project control.
Prerequisites: Post-baccalaureate standing. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground or Hybrid. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Develop extensive skills in tools and techniques used in planning, scheduling, and controlling projects.
- Apply the concepts, tools and technique in analyzing, planning, and managing projects.
- Analyze the role of socio-cultural factors in effective management of projects.
- Evaluate the alignment of project plan with company’s strategy and competitive global environment.
