CMPE 330 - Electric Circuits II Units: 3 A study of transistor-amplifier design, small- and large-signal models for diodes, BJTs, and MOSFETS, including operating points, biasing, and frequency responses. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Analyze and compute voltage, current, and power in circuits with passive and active components;
- Understand the design and operation of transistor amplifiers;
- Understand small- and large-signal models and DC operating points for circuit components;
- Understand the design and operation of digital circuit components;
- Utilize circuit analysis software and hardware to compute electrical quantities in transistor-based circuits; Develop greater general knowledge of household electronic devices.
