INDE 360 - Operations Research Units: 4 Theory and application of deterministic and probabilistic optimization techniques. Topics selected from project management, networks, linear programming, non-linear programming, game theory and dynamic programming. Applications using specialized software.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Apply critical path method (CPM), Performance Evaluation Review Technique (PERT), Max Flow and Minimum Spanning Tree techniques to solve network problems.
- Formulate given word problems into mathematical relationships and solve using appropriate graphical and computer based tools
- Calculate expected pay-offs and value of perfect information in decision analysis problems
- Identify and solve competitive problems using game theory techniques to develop optimal strategies
