COMM 202 - Communication, Media and Culture Units: 4 Explores culture as expression of human agency, hinging on a reciprocal relationship between communication and culture. Critically investigates embodied, symbolic, technological, material, oral, visual, social, and ideological aspects of cultural studies.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Analyze, interpret, and describe texts circulating in the public sphere;
- Understand and apply a variety of frameworks for communication analysis;
- Effectively perform analysis of mass mediated public addresses, texts, discourses, and performances.
