TED 545 - Music I: Instructional Methods in a Single Subject Classroom Units: 3 Introduction to theory and practice of instructional methodology in a single subject classroom. Separate courses for art, Chinese, dance, English, French, Hindi, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies, Spanish and theater.
Prerequisites: Admission to Single Subject Credential Program. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Develop varied lessons and units in the content area appropriate to the developmental level of students in their classrooms.
- Develop lessons and units aligned with state standards and frameworks.
- Develop classroom management techniques appropriate to their content area and grade of their students.
- Identify, assess, and use different pedagogical techniques.
