TED 543 - Visual Arts II: Instructional Methods in a Single Subject Classroom Units: 3 Theory and practice of instructional methodology in a single subject classroom. Application in the beginning weeks of a teaching assignment. Separate courses for art, Chinese, dance, English, French, Hindi, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social studies, Spanish and theater.
Prerequisites: Admission to Single Subject Credential Program. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Develop assessments appropriate to their content area, students, and in line with state standards and frameworks.
- Integrate appropriate academic language use into lessons for their students.
- Teach to students with all levels of English proficiency.
- Teach to students with special needs.
