MM 666 - Experiments in Art and Technology Units: 3 This course has a different topic or theme each semester and can be repeated, subject to advisor approval. Experimental studio course explores the territory at the intersection of the technical, scientific, entertainment and fine arts communities.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 12 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking about art and technology.
- Critique and improve poor interactive and interaction design.
- Demonstrate awareness of new application areas and up-and-coming advanced technologies and ways in which they may be used to create interactive experiences.
- Create compelling interactive experiences and explain the rationale used and decisions taken. Critique peer and professional work.
