TED 622 - Advanced Studies in Expository Reading and Writing Units: 3 Critical reading, writing, and analytical skills of transitional kindergarten through grade12 students. Effective and strategic techniques for reading and writing academic prose.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - escribe ways teachers in different content areas help students develop content area literacy.
- Analyze textbooks and identify supplemental materials that will best meet the needs of all students.
- Identify ways that teachers can motivate and engage students by connecting in school and out of school literary practices.
- Seek solutions to a self-selected topic related to writing across the curriculum.
