OTL 672 - Content Development for Online Learning Units: 3
Utilize various content authoring tools and relevant teaching and learning strategies as well as design principles learned from previous courses to create learning objects that contain instructional materials, activities, and/or assessments for online course module(s).
Prerequisites: All of: OTL 601, OTL 602, OTL 604. Possible Instructional Methods: Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Analyze and evaluate constraints that impact design decisions in multiple environments.
- Analyze and evaluate learner characteristics that impact design decisions in multiple environments.
- Analyze the different pedagogical approaches required in different learning environments.
- Develop lesson plan(s) that include learning objectives, instructional materials, learning activities, assessment.
- Create learning objects using content authoring tools based on developed lesson plan(s).
