MGMT 362 - AI-enhanced Service Management and Quality Improvement Units: 3 Introduces basic principles related to effective management of service operations and quality management in an AI-driven service sector. Topics include service strategy and design, statistical process control and continuous improvement, reliability measurement, queuing analysis, yield management, technology and simulation.
Prerequisites: Completion of GE areas A1, A2 and A3. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Online-Asynchronous, or Online-Synchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Demonstrate familiarity and a working knowledge of the principles and practice of operations management in the service industry.
- Apply concepts and applications of quality management to manage and improve quality, productivity, and reliability in service organizations.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods and software applications in managing service operations and improving quality.
