POSC 333 - Grab ‘Em by the Politics: Campaign Skills Units: 3 Professional skills in running and organizing election campaigns. Reading and practice in framing issues, political strategy, campaign management, advertising, polling, speech writing, media relations, Internet use, fund-raising, building and sustaining support of organizations and interest groups.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Theory and practice of campaign management including; political strategy, issue framing, advertising, polling, speech writing, media relations, fundraising, and lobbying.
- Students will practice campaign skills through in-class exercises, written assignments and group projects using a variety of tools and techniques.
- These skills will be useful in influencing both elections and policy outcomes.
