KIN 690 - Independent Study Units: 1-4 Individual investigation of a specific issue, area or topic in kinesiology planned in consultation with a department faculty member.
Prerequisites: Department consent, minimum 3.0 GPA. Credit Restrictions: Open to Kinesiology majors only.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 4 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Identify a question of practical and/or theoretical importance with an underlying rationale.
- Synthesize and integrate relevant research literature.
- Design a methodology and analytical framework to address the question.
- Effectively present conceptual frameworks, methods and findings both orally and in writing.
