KIN 693 - Project Units: 1-4 Applied project addressing specific need, perspective, issue or problem in kinesiology. Developed in consultation with adviser: must include expansive information search, documentation of the application, reporting of outcomes and conclusions. An oral defense of the project may be required.
Strongly Recommended Preparation: Capstone courses to be taken in last semester of study. Credit Restrictions: Open to Kinesiology majors only.
Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: A-F grading only. Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of core kinesiology theory and research.
- Apply disciplinary knowledge to a practical real-world problem.
- Communicate effectively using a contextually-grounded approach.
- Critically reflect on the value of physical activity to life-long health and wellness for all.
