MGMT 300 - Business and Professional Ethics Units: 3 ; Breadth Area: Social Justice Focuses on ethical issues related to the workplace with explicit attention to how business ethics practices can contribute to social justice among various stakeholders of business. Topics include ethical policies to promote fairness and corporate social responsibility.

Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of ethical philosophy and theory including fairness/justice perspectives.
- Apply the fundamentals of ethical philosophy and theory to promote fairness and equity in relation to business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking skills necessary to successfully identify and manage ethical decisions and dilemmas in management individually.
- Demonstrate critical and analytical thinking skills necessary to successfully identify and manage ethical decisions and dilemmas in management as member of team.
- Produce written documents that (a) are grammatically correct and (b) incorporate logical, complete, and articulate thoughts relating to complex ethical issues.

- describe the challenges to achieving social justice; and
- identify ways in which individuals and/or groups can contribute to social justice within local communities, nations, or the world.
