ART 493B - Interaction and Game Design Senior Project Units: 3 Students produce an interaction design project, complex website, or game reflecting mastery of creative, design, coding and development skills and processes that meet professional standards. Students prepare to transition to postgraduate life.
Prerequisites: B.F.A. major, Senior standing; ART 351 or 352 or 355. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid, or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Produce an interaction design project, complex website, or game at a professional level;
- Demonstrate mastery of the key concepts and techniques of interaction design practice;
- Envision a sophisticated piece or body of work, write and present a proposal, plan and execute a steady practice to realize the work and present it to an audience;
- Anticipate and plan a course of professional development, including interviews, grant applications, competition entries, and graduate school applications.
