ENGL 203 - Introduction to Dramatic Literature

Introduction to dramatic literature as a genre. Readings will include major works of Classical, medieval, Elizabethan, and modern drama. Dramatic works will be considered in relation to their historical contexts and relevance to our current moment.

Understand and apply key concepts related to the genre of drama;
Develop close reading skills and use them to actively analyze dramatic texts
