SLHS 310 - Foundations of Success in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology II Units: 2 Students will learn a variety of skills to prepare them for a career in speech-language pathology and/or audiology.
Prerequisites: Open to Majors only Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: CR/NC grading only. Course Typically Offered: Spring ONLY
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Create a weekly and a semester study plan
- Develop short- and long-term goals
- Create a plan for preparing for graduate school applications and/or preferred career direction
- Create a resume
- Write a personal statement
- Develop effective skills in networking, leadership, and advocacy
