HOS 235 - Introduction to Community Engagement Units: 3 An introduction to community engagement where students will apply concepts and knowledge of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism programming to enhance the quality of life in local communities through service.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 6 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground, or Hybrid or Online-Asynchronous. Grading: A-F or CR/NC (student choice). Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to: - Demonstrate critical self-reflection of community engagement experiences.
