Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- To participate in and examine learning centered activities to better understand career planning and how it applies to self and career aspirations.
- To participate in and examine learning centered activities to better understand self interests and values as they pertain to one’s own strengths and weaknesses in need of further development which would include an awareness and understanding of diversity as it relates to self, internship placement, and professional success;
- To evaluate the various transitional issues that students experience when seeking employment;
- To discuss the internship experience and how it relates to academic program, best practice, professionalism, and career success;
- To explain why an internship experience is beneficial to one’s career planning.
