MATH 15 - College Algebra Workshop Units: 1 This course develops foundational skills in mathematics and quantitative reasoning in support of successful completion of Math 115: College Algebra.
Co-requisites: MATH 115. Credit Restrictions: Required for students in Category III or IV taking Math 115.
Repeatability: May be repeated for credit for a maximum of 5 units. Possible Instructional Methods: On-ground. Grading: CR/NC grading only. Course Typically Offered: Fall & Spring
Student Learning Outcomes - Upon successful completion of this course students will be able to:
- Perform basic algebraic operations needed to explain the similarities and differences between various families of functions.
- Model real world problems using basic algebraic principles.
- Solve problems involving linear equations, polynomials and rational functions using basic algebraic principles and graphs.
- Apply basic algebraic principles and operations to functions.
